[ Maizono squeaks at being dragged into the house, but manages to grab the basket before Milly closes the door. Once they're inside she presents it to her as a gift. ]

I prepared it as a sort of belated gift... maybe you can use it for after you're done with work?

You better pinky swear that! I've missed you and Nat so much-- it's not quite the same without you two.

[and that goes for the rest of the party crew, honestly. that should be remedied, though. she hasn't had a party since... oh god, WHEN????

she takes the basket with a smile, and examines it. tea is excellent, of course, but whiskey... always important to have in the house! (but it must remain hidden from the husband.)]

Thank you, but why don't we use it now! I can open late, honestly. Except the other day, we had loads of business! I made so much, and we even stayed open all night! [someone is pretty excited about having to work extra, it seems.] Perhaps a toast to successes, past, present and future? [she winks, and starts toward her bedroom.] You decide with what, though. I'm going to get changed, alright?

[ See? Maizono's even holding out her pinky and everything so she and Milly can do the promise thing proper!

Either way, she pauses, glancing between the tea and the whisky for a few moments in thought before she nods, a small smile coming to her face as she waves for Milly to go get changed. ]

Sure... I'd like that! Maybe we could make a cocktail using both of something for the toast? That is possible, right...?

with a smile, she looks back at sayaka one last time, then starts stripping, calling out over her shoulder.]

A tea and whiskey combination sounds dangerous, but daring. If you know a recipe for that, then by all means, go for it. If not, I've got vodka and orange juice hiding somewhere.

[she puts on her tights and her shirt, then grabs her makeup case, bringing it out to the kitchen so she can get ready while she talks to her lovely daughter.] By the way, if you're hungry, you know you can have anything here. I would hate for you to go hungry under my roof!

[ Somewhere there is a thunderous lightning flash that goes off in response to the pinky swear. It is an eternal pact.

Maizono pauses for a moment, frowning as she put her finger to her chin in thought - and then shrugs and laughs awkwardly as she sighed. ]

I'm afraid I don't. I was hoping that you might... but that sounds like a pretty interesting combination, too!

[ Maizono ends up studying Milly for a bit as she watches her do her makeup, again feeling her lips turn into a soft frown in thought before she shakes her head. ]

It's okay! I'm fine... I already ate. I'll remember that for the next time I'm here, though!

[as she puts her foundation on, she smirks at sayaka, and laughs.] A Long Island iced tea seems excessive when one isn't trying to drink away a break-up or really needs to take someone home. That's the only recipe I've got off the top of my head that involves tea... Still, we could try making something together!

[there is always time for a mixology course.]

Are you sure? Take something before you go, at least. Xanxus and Mafuyu aren't really around for dinners or anything like that, so I don't know if they even eat. [she sweeps a bit of gold onto her eyelids, then lines her eyes with black. like a bee, she thinks. a busy bee, like her.] I think they do, but one can never be too sure unless they see it for themselves!

That sounds like fun... you think we have time before you have to go to work?

[ Because what better way to bond with your not!mom than mixing drinks and possibly getting drunk together, right? ]

Well... all right, maybe a little thing for the road! Since you offered...

[ Maizono pauses at the unfamiliar names, tilting her head. ]

. . . Xanxus? Mafuyu? Are they your new family here?

I always have time for you. And drinks! But mostly you. If we're lucky, we'll make something pretty good.

[she laughs and nods with confidence as she puts blush on, then paints her lips a pretty pink.]

Better for you to have it than them. [a pause, then--] Husband and daughter. Mafuyu is an absolute sweetheart, but Xanxus... [there was much to say about xanxus and not all of it was pleasant.] Well, he's. Adjusting. He'll get better.

Well, I look forward to it, Milly! Maybe I can treat Natsuru to some of these if the result is good.

[ Maizono seems like she's pleased with this idea, already getting out some of the teas and the whiskey for their little impromptu mixology class. ]

Adjusting... I think we all had our moments while trying to get used to this place.

I think you'll be okay, though! You're strong, and very persuasive and outgoing... I have no doubt you'll be able to handle it.
