[ Ryuko doesn't go home much — that would kind of defeat the purpose of couchsurfing to stay away — but she has to check in occasionally. Partially to check the mail, partially to see if anyone else has showed up (it's a relief that nobody has), and partially just to keep an eye on Satsuki and Nonon. Know thy enemy, and all that.

Today's a mailbox day. Whatever she expected, it wasn't a tin of cookies, and she pops it open to read the note right then and there. She's still scratching her head when she spots Milly — and decides that if she's supposed to give them out, why not start now? ]

Hey! [ It's a little louder than she intended, but she's trying to get some attention here. ]

[milly is leaning against her mailbox, flipping through letters, examining her own tin of cookies, when ryuko calls out. looking up, she smiles and walks over to her.]

Hey! Pillow fight girl! [because her actual name escapes her.] Where have you been? I thought you got sent home!

... She's had worse. At least she refrains from giving her a nickname in return, because it'd probably be rude. ]

Not yet. Guess I'm not that lucky. [ Not that she'd leave, anyway — someone has to keep an eye on Satsuki. She nods at the tin of cookies in Milly's hand. ] You got 'em too, huh?

Yeah! I think it's kind of sweet that he sent us these. And to give them to other people? He must really want us to be friendly! [she smiles, and glances back to the cookies.] Cute idea, isn't it?
